Los Alcázares prepares to welcome Europe’s sailing elite

The Mar Menor will once again become one of the great international sailing venues in 2026 with the celebration of the A-Class European Championship in Los Alcázares.

Over several days, from 28 May to 5 June, sailors from different countries, arriving from the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and many more, will compete in one of the most spectacular and fastest sailing disciplines today, attracting enthusiasts, teams, and visitors from across Europe.

The Championship will be organised into several stages, where spectators will be able to appreciate the full potential of the competitors: from training sessions and qualifying heats to the official races.
