Los Alcázares celebrates 40 years of autonomy and will celebrate in style
Preparations are underway to start all the activities that will take place in our town of Los Alcázares from 11 to 22 October to celebrate the 40th anniversary of municipal autonomy, and as every year on this important and special date the town celebrates it with great enthusiasm.
During these days, alcazareños, alcazareñas and visitors will celebrate the culture, history, tradition and gastronomy of this municipality.
There will be concerts, the legendary calderos on the beach, activities for the whole family and the long-awaited gastronomic event 'Gastromar'.
The festivities will begin on Wednesday 11 October with the 'Chupinazo' in the Town Hall Square of Los Alcázares. Afterwards, you can enjoy live music, dances and tributes, which will fill the streets with rhythm and joy, as well as many other activities throughout the week, such as the traditional 'Día del Caldero', where family, friends and neighbours get together to celebrate.
In addition to activities for all ages, there will be a unique gastronomic event: Gastromar, from 20th to 22nd October.
